about how my story became part of your story…

Filming weddings is how I make a living—and I still can’t believe I get to do it. I get to play with cameras, tell real stories, and make something meaningful for people. That’s not something I take for granted. I also know this is a big investment for many couples, and I take seriously the responsibility of capturing your day in crisp, cinematic detail.

I moved to Pittsburgh in 2021 with some experience under my belt, but things really took off once I got here. In my first year alone, I filmed over 30 weddings. Fun fact: for the first year and a half, I didn’t even own a car—I was renting one every weekend just to make it to shoots. That hustle taught me a lot.

People often ask why I moved to Pittsburgh. I usually say something like, “I moved here to start my videography career.” And that’s true—but it’s not the whole truth. The truth is, wedding videography kind of found me. The more couples I worked with, the more I realized how much I love this work. I started getting great feedback, refined my gear setup to avoid all the common headaches, and connected with other talented local videographers. (By the way, the camera in my photo is the older setup—the new one looks more like a tank.)

Today, I’m focused on delivering the best wedding films I can as a one-man operation. I may expand to include a second videographer in the future, but for now, I shoot every wedding myself—personally, intentionally, and with a lot of care.

When couples describe my style, they often use words like intimate, true to life, candid, heartfelt, and of course… cinematic.

So what does cinematic mean to me? Everyone in this industry throws that word around, but let’s be honest—it’s not like we’re on a film set. To me, cinematic means creating something you couldn’t just capture on your phone, or ask your photographer to shoot “video mode” for a few minutes. I use tools like a gimbal, microphones, external audio recorders, and special lighting to craft something that feels like a real film. It’s fun, sometimes chaotic, and occasionally borderline impossible (rainy outdoor weddings, anyone?). But I always push through—and some of my best shots have come from wrapping my camera in plastic and embracing the moment.

I communicate best over the phone. If you prefer email or text, that’s totally fine—I’ll meet you where you’re comfortable. But I do ask for at least one good, thoughtful phone call as we get close to your big day. It really helps me understand your story better.

I know choosing a videographer is a deeply personal decision—and I don’t take that lightly. If my work speaks to you, and you want a film that captures the feeling of the day—not just the timeline—I’d love to connect and hear what you’re planning.

Let’s tell your story the way it deserves to be told.
