When I relocated to Pittsburgh in 2021, I didn’t even own a proper car. I rented one every weekend just to get to shoots.
My name is Grahame Bywater and my production company is called Bywater Lens. I have been filming weddings full time since 2022. When I’m not editing video, I play guitar and pet my very fat cat.
Bywater Lens is my Pittsburgh-based digital film and photography studio. I capture weddings, events, and portraits using professional lighting and audio, as well as post-production and legacy storage for future generations.
I have filmed over 120 weddings. I step into the role of run and gun cinematographer with a specific vision. However, the most important thing is that you are enjoying yourselves. I still can’t believe how lucky I am to do this as my job. I get to document real people, real moments, and real emotion. That’s a privilege I don’t take lightly.
I want you to not only remember enjoying your wedding beautifully, but to enjoy remembering that you enjoyed it — again and again.
