Recording every single wedding as raw video and photo files takes a massive amount of space. I’m getting close to 100 Terabytes currently. I have everything backed up on physical hard drives in a separate enclosure that I keep turned off next to my PC. At various moments throughout the year I flip this on and create a quick anniversary reel or export a few extra stills here and there.

If my house ever explodes due to having too much cinematic greatness contained inside of one room, then I simply pay backblaze a fee and they send me all of my data on physical drives.
